About the event
Wildstone’s survival and stewardship 3-day class is a basic course for anyone who wants to see what it takes to make it in the wilderness. This class is geared toward beginners and those with little to no experience in the outdoors. Even if you have never camped in a tent (or an RV!), this class will help you become comfortable with being uncomfortable.
The main goals of this class are to teach you about the survival triangle (fire, shelter, water), to help you build confidence and to offer space to learn what it means to be a steward of the Earth. We want each student to walk away from this class feeling more connected to nature, to develop a deeper relationship with the land as well as feel confident in their ability to survive in the wilderness.
